ABOUT US
Alveo is a sandwich shop on the square in Mariemont, built around one thing first: the bread.
Our schiacciata takes three days. Mixed, rested, folded, proofed and baked every morning, so by the time the door opens at ten the crust is crisp, the crumb is open and the whole room smells like it. The name comes from the alveograph, a tool bakers use to test flour. We named the shop after the bread on purpose.
WE CATER
Lunch for the office, the party, the people who matter.
Every catering order starts with a conversation. Tell us the headcount, the occasion and any dietary needs, and we build the menu around it: sandwiches on the three-day schiacciata, salads, chips, cookies and drinks, in whatever mix fits the day. Office lunch, birthday, game day, a meeting that deserves better than pizza. Anything on the menu can be made gluten-free. Everything is made the morning of, on the same bread we serve at the counter.
